Tensions in the Middle East have shot up once again after a dramatic exchange of attacks between the United States and Iran. According to reports, Iran launched ballistic missiles and drones targeting American military bases in the region. In response, the US military carried out a major airstrike on Iran’s Qeshm Island, escalating the confrontation even further.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) went a step further, claiming it had successfully attacked the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. However, the US Central Command quickly dismissed this claim, calling it false and insisting that Iran’s missile and drone strikes were ineffective.
